Several things went wrong and required the support people maintain a Remote Connection with my computer and lead me step-by-step over the phone as they viewed what was on my screen. Now this might sound easy but it took me 6 hours with a two tech support people on two different days.
(8) restoring Q-2013 data to Q-2017 which gives user the Q-2017 program with Q-2017 data in it (Q-2013 files converted to Q-2017 files) (7) installing Q-2017 (and not deleting Q-2013 yet) (6) restoring Q-2004 data to Q-2013 which gives the user a Q-2013 program with Q-2013 data in it (Q-2004 files converted to Q-2013 files) (3) restoring Q-2001 data to Q-2004 which gives the user Q-2004 program with Q-2004 data in it (because all the Q-2001 files are converted to Q-2004 files. They have a specific protocol to do this which involves They must have learned over the years that this is such an important service feature. So the fun began! However, Quicken Tech Support has a vast array of individuals who are willing to give enormous amounts of time to helping customers update their data. Naturally the flash drive of data (from Quicken 2001) would not restore to Q-2017. I finally broke down and bought a new 2017 version of Quicken Deluxe.
